melted butter

all purpose flour

milk

dry white wine

teaspoon
salt

onion powder

flaked crab meat
(fresh will be better than canned, but you can use either)

French bread
(baguette size is good)

cup
shredded, fresh Parmesan
Instructions
Preheat your oven to broil.
In a medium saucepan, heat the butter and milk over low heat until thick. Add the wine, salt and crab meat and stir until mixed; remove from heat.
Spread the mixture on the bread slices. Place on a baking sheet and sprinkle with cheese; broil until the cheese melts. Serve immediately.
Notes
You can serve this on crackers instead of bread if you'd like.
