dark sweet cherries,
stemmed and pitted

cup
granulated white sugar

cup
water
½
teaspoon
ground cinnamon

pinch
ground cloves
1
pinch
ground nutmeg
½
cup
seedless raspberry jam
Instructions
Put cherries in medium saucepan; add sugar, water, and spices. Bring to a boil, reduce to simmer, cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
Remove cherries with slotted spoon; add jam and boil until syrupy. Pour syrup over cherries.
Ready to serve!
Notes
If you are preparing this recipe as GLUTEN-FREE, just be sure to use a brand of raspberry jam that is known to be GF.
