Broccoli Salad with Vinaigrette
This is a lower fat broccoli salad recipe that is a delicious change from the usual creamy version.

cups
small broccoli florets
(sliced in half, if too big)

thinly vertically sliced red onion
¼
cup
thinly sliced red bell pepper
¼
cup
raisins
(golden or regular)

sliced almonds,
toasted
salt and pepper,
to taste

slice
cooked, drained and crumbled bacon

tablespoons
white wine vinegar

tablespoons
granulated white sugar

teaspoons
olive oil
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the first 7 ingredients (broccoli through bacon).
In a small bowl, whisk together the vinegar, sugar and oil. Pour over the broccoli mixture and toss gently to coat.
Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
