Hot Cocoa Rice Krispie Treats

I think we can all agree that traditional Rice Krispie treats are pretty much the best dessert ever. I’ve added a bit of chocolate before by making Butterfinger Rice Krispie treats. And those are amazing too. But these hot cocoa Rice Krispie treats are a chocolate lover’s dream. They’re supremely chocolatey and wonderful.

➡️ Tips and Substitutions:

  • Use chocolate extract (available online) instead of vanilla extract for extra-chocolatey treats!
  • It’s okay to substitute another type of chocolate (milk or dark) for the semisweet.
  • The dehydrated mini marshmallows may be left out of the recipe, if you’d like.
  • Drizzle some melted chocolate on top to make these even more chocolate-themed!
