Dill Pickle Dip
This appetizer dip is one that may sound strange to some people. Trust me that it’s not. It’s a great tasting dip. In fact, it’s terribly difficult not to sit in front of the bowl and dip chip after chip after chip. You’ll find that it’s a favorite when served at parties and that everyone will ask for the recipe!

🛒 Ingredients Needed:
- cream cheese
- dill pickles and dill pickle juice
- plain Greek yogurt
- fresh dill
- minced garlic
- cayenne pepper
- potato chips and/or veggies, for serving
✏️ How to make Dill Pickle Dip:
*The complete, printable recipe is in the recipe card at the end of this post.
- In a medium bowl, use a rubber spatula to cream the cream cheese. Stir in the pickles, yogurt, pickle juice, dill and garlic until well combined. Add cayenne pepper, to taste- just a dash or two.
- Spoon the dip into a serving bowl, and garnish with more pickles and fresh dill.

➡️ Tips and Substitutions:
- I suggest serving this dip with firm potato chips. Flimsy potato chips won’t hold up well to dipping into this chunky dip.
- Use some good, firm dill pickles for this dill pickle dip. Chop them up finely.
- Add a little cayenne pepper at a time, until the dip has the amount of heat you’re looking for. Or you can leave it out entirely.

✔️ Make Ahead Tip:
Make this dip several hours ahead of serving. Keep covered and refrigerated until ready to serve.
