Here’s a beachy cocktail that is perfect for celebrating summer > Beach House Cosmos
I may be posting a few cocktail recipes this summer, but really and truly I’m not at all a drinky-drink kind of girl. It’s usually wine or bust for me. But I’ve been expanding my horizons and trying new things. All of the cocktails I’ve been posting I’ve absolutely loved. And this one I’m sharing with you today was the best one ever!!
We hung out at a beach house this summer for a couple of weeks. You’ll be seeing a few “beach house-inspired” recipes in the weeks to come. This is one of them. Our dear beach house neighbor Sheila loaned me her copy of The Beach House Cookbook to use while I was on vacation, which I absolutely adore. So many great recipes in there. Of course, this recipe comes from that book.
I liken this recipe to a good sangria, sans the loads of fruit and made totally differently! It’s super easy to pull-together (it begins with store-bought limeade, which is paired with vodka, triple sec and cranberry juice), and it’s served in a pitcher.
These beachy cosmos were WAY too easy to gulp down on a blistering hot summer day in Massachusetts. And they are slightly lethal if you drink one too many!
You should totally make them too! Cheers!

These drinks are perfect for the beach, the pool or just sitting at home. lol
Those look fantastic! Can I get one of these with a side of beach house please?
Love the pink color! I bet these hit the spot on a hot day!
This is so easy to make! Love!
Now this is a fun cocktail, the color is fabulous!
Sorry for my bad English but I want to know what is the capacity of a cup? Millimeter please
It’s a great idea of cocktail thank you
Google tells me that 1 cup = 236.588 milliliters.
I have been looking for a light tasty drink for the beach and lake. This is yummy! I did some substituting only because I didn’t want to go to the grocery store. I used raspberry lemonade in place of cranberry, cherry vodka, and the rest of the recipe. Delicious!
This will be a great drink for a cookout I am having in a few weeks. Does it use real cranberry juice or cranberry cocktail juice? Thanks for your help!
Whatever you’d like!
nice recipe, I was searching for summer-ish cocktails to counter to the winter-ish gloom and found this recipe. love the lime garnish, the photos really made me thirst, even as a non-alcoholic drink, but love the cocktail version, thank you!
you’re welcome!
