Here’s a beachy cocktail that is perfect for celebrating summer > Beach House Cosmos

Beach House Cosmos - recipe from RecipeGirl.com

I may be posting a few cocktail recipes this summer, but really and truly I’m not at all a drinky-drink kind of girl.  It’s usually wine or bust for me.  But I’ve been expanding my horizons and trying new things.  All of the cocktails I’ve been posting I’ve absolutely loved.  And this one I’m sharing with you today was the best one ever!!

Beach House Cosmos - recipe from RecipeGirl.com

We hung out at a beach house this summer for a couple of weeks.  You’ll be seeing a few “beach house-inspired” recipes in the weeks to come.  This is one of them.  Our dear beach house neighbor Sheila loaned me her copy of The Beach House Cookbook to use while I was on vacation, which I absolutely adore.  So many great recipes in there.  Of course, this recipe comes from that book.

I liken this recipe to a good sangria, sans the loads of fruit and made totally differently!  It’s super easy to pull-together (it begins with store-bought limeade, which is paired with vodka, triple sec and cranberry juice), and it’s served in a pitcher.

These beachy cosmos were WAY too easy to gulp down on a blistering hot summer day in Massachusetts.  And they are slightly lethal if you drink one too many!

You should totally make them too! Cheers!

just like lemonade, but limeade. You’ll find it next to the lemonade in the market.

These are so pretty and so summery! Love them, Lori. I usually stick to wine too but this summer I’ve branched out a bit and I haven’t been sorry!

What a fun drink, a little bit different than a regular Cosmos. I love the glass, I’ve been looking for some like this! May I ask where you got it?

    1. Lori Lange says:

I was staying at a rented beach house, so the glass belonged to the owners. No idea where they got it!

Lori this is a great drink!! I looooove your images in this post! I also have that yellow glass! I used it for a Rum Runner recipe and a granola holder that's going in my cookbook 🙂 Pinned this and want this!

Looks so pretty! And sounds good too, except that I don’t drink…how would I virgin-ize this? Instead of vodka and triple sec, should I just use club soda?
