It turns out that Air Fryer Salmon is the very best way to cook salmon fillets! And this recipe is topped with an amazing sauce.
I’ve had this sauce recipe for a long time. I’ve always used it to top grilled chicken. But this time, I paired it with air fryer salmon, and I can’t believe I haven’t been doing this all along! The creamy, buttery wine sauce with chunks of artichoke hearts is the perfect addition to salmon (and probably other fish too).
Ingredients needed:
- salmon fillets
- olive oil
- garlic powder, salt and freshly ground black pepper
- heavy whipping cream
- diced artichoke hearts
- chardonnay
- salted butter
- freshly squeezed lemon juice
- fresh parsley
Can you use any white wine for the sauce?
Since this is a buttery sauce, I’d stick with a buttery wine… which is chardonnay.

Air fry until cooked through: 7 to 9 minutes. If your salmon is thicker, it may take a couple more minutes.
I love salmon anyway, but this has now become a favorite meal with this delicious sauce. I hope you like it as much as my family does. Enjoy!

Is there any way to make this in regular oven?
Yes, you can bake the salmon in the oven instead. I usually do 400 degrees for about 12 minutes or so, depending on thickness of salmon.
