This Spicy Hummus Avocado Dip is such an easy, easy, delicious dip for tortilla chips.
At first I was a little hesitant to use *hot* sauce in this dip, but the hummus and avocados cool it off and do not make it super spicy. This dip is always a HUGE hit at a tailgate party or a Super Bowl party. It’s the first thing gobbled up in a sea of food!

Thanks for the shout out Lori. Yes, although I did make this suggestion I can’t take all the credit. One of my guests while tailgating brought this dip and was such a hit I had to ask her for the recipe to share on my website. Easy to make, easy to transport and the bowl is clean by the end of the day which makes it for easy clean up when it is time to go into the game.
Thanks, Dave! My husband brought this to a tailgating party at the Holiday Bowl and 15 people were diving into the dip and loving it!
This looks fabulous! I’ve always thought that hummus needed more of a kick. Thanks!
What a smashing idea! Since we like things hot, I may try this with my homemade pico de gallo.
