- In a large skillet, melt the butter. Add the garlic and cook for about 2 minutes. Stir and watch carefully. You don’t want the butter or garlic to burn. Remove the garlic from the pan and discard.
- Add the shrimp to the hot butter. Sauté the shrimp until firm and pink, 3 to 5 minutes. Stir in the wine, lemon, salt and pepper.

- An easy way to crush the garlic is to peel the garlic, lay it on its side and then take a wide knife and use it smash down and crush the garlic.
