➡️ Recipe Tips and Substitutions:

  • If preparing this recipe as gluten free, use gluten free all-purpose flour (or an appropriate replacement) in place of regular flour.
  • Make sure you zest your lemon before you squeeze the juice out of it!
  • Slivered almonds may be used in place of sliced almonds.
  • Keep an eye on the chicken while baking to make sure the almonds are not burning. Baking on a lower rack will help with this.
