10 Minute Tomato Soup

This is a super simple and quick way to make homemade tomato soup. It will be a bit richer and creamier if you choose to use heavy whipping cream instead of half and half. I recommend serving your 10 Minute Tomato Soup with a grilled cheese sandwich. This is the perfect lunch or easy dinner for a gloomy day!

This super quick (10 minute!!) Tomato Soup comes from  The Picky Palate Cookbook. It’s creamy and delicious with some basil and garlic mixed in too.  It’s also kid-friendly… get the kids to help you and show them how easy it is to make Tomato Soup! And don’t you dare forget the grilled cheese!

❤️Why I love this recipe:

  1. Let’s start with that all important “10 Minute” in the title. I love recipes that can be put together so quickly.
  2. I’m still a kid at heart, and like noting better than tomato soup with a grilled cheese sandwich. I admit to tearing off bits of the sandwich and dropping them into the bowl to be scooped up with spoonfuls of soup.
  3. It’s a kid friendly soup and I love being able to share this recipe with other moms.

Made this soup last night … mom loved it!  I loved it. As I was making it mom said “It’s gonna be hard to beat Campbells”.  Really?  She is so funny.
