I’m so happy to share this simple margarita recipe with you because it’s just darn delicious.  Think “Hawaii.”  Think “tropical island.”  Think “oh my gosh, it’s so hot outside and I just want a slushy cocktail!” That’s what these Watermelon Mango Margaritas will bring you.  Well, they’ll bring you a refreshing drink that feels tropical and satisfying on a hot day.  And they’ll bring you joy because they’re so pretty!

How to make Watermelon Mango Margaritas:

These margaritas are a simple mix of fresh watermelon, mango, lime juice, sugar, tequila and triple sec.  All you need to do is blend those together and pour into glasses. You can edge your glasses with salt, if you like to drink your margaritas that way– or leave them without.

Helpful Tip: How to Cut a Mango:

The best way to get the flesh out of a mango without creating a total disaster is to cut off each side of the mango (on either side of the seed), cut a grid pattern into each half, and then pushing the skin inside out to reveal the cut cubes so you can cut them off.  It’s hard to understand without a visual.  There are a lot of YouTube videos that show you how to cut a mango.  Here’s a photo tutorial that makes it easy too >>  How to Cut a Mango.

Alternately, you can substitute frozen mango chunks for the fresh mango.  Use about 1 3/4 cups frozen mango chunks.

For garnishing:

Wedges of watermelon or lime work well for a garnish on the side of the glass.  You might also like to use a melon baller and garnish a few “balls” in the top of each margarita, as shown in the photos.
